Our company history
From Adana to the world, and now to the U.S.
Beta Tea’s story starts in Adana, Turkey, in 1978. Beta Tea began selling tea there, made it a specialty, and helped introduce tea drinkers across Turkey to new flavors. Tea became the heart of the business, and it has stayed that way ever since.
Then it was time to explore. In the early 1990s, we took our tea to the countries that had just broken away from the Soviet Union and found new tea lovers there. Soon Beta Tea was being poured from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan to Russia, Iraq, and beyond.
Wherever we went, one thing stayed the same: our love of fine ceylon tea, grown in the cool highlands of Sri Lanka.
Today, Beta Tea, Bayce, Champion, and Howdah are sold around the world, and we’re still growing, from the Middle East to Eastern Europe. Now it’s America’s turn. Beta Tea USA is where American tea lovers can see what’s available in the U.S. and find where to buy Beta Tea on Amazon.
